New to Warhammer Tabletop

Postby Vylaris » Wed Dec 18, 2019 12:27 pm

Hello Everyone,

My name is Paul and am relatively new to the Boston area as I moved here last year. I had dropped by last Sunday(12/15) to peek in and am planning on coming by with my Blood Angel army this coming Sunday(12/21) to try playing the game. Have never played 40k outside of the various Warhammer 40k video games (Dawn of War series, Space Marine, Gladius).

Battlescribe can be good if you want to PLUNGE INTO THE FRAY but also, Kill Team is a lower model count game that GW put out recently that can be very good to learn 40k. Thursdays after work hours we play Kill Team, Sundays is primarily for 40k. We set up games in advance using the "Games This Week" subforum.

I met you on sunday (I'm the blonde guy with the beard who was playing Orks) and it's great to see you on the forum!
Game Preferences:
A model may assault upper levels of terrain if they charge far enough to climb them
All current beta rules in effect unless opponent prefers otherwise
I love setting up custom, fluffy scenarios, PM me!

For Sanguinius!
“Fairy tales do not give the child his first idea of bogey. What fairy tales give the child is his first clear idea of the possible defeat of bogey. The baby has known the dragon intimately ever since he had an imagination. What the fairy tale provides for him is a St. George to kill the dragon.”
